Designing a Digital Experience for Clarity Solutions: LED, Signage & Visual Technology

How I created an unofficial digital experience concept for Clarity Solutions, combining web design, UI/UX, graphic design, social media creatives and LED digital signage.

Designing a Digital Experience for Clarity Solutions: LED, Signage & Visual Technology cover

Why I Created the Clarity Solutions Concept

When applying for a creative role, a CV can describe what you know, but a project can demonstrate what you can actually do.

While exploring the Website & Graphic Designer opportunity at Clarity Solutions, I decided to create an independent concept project based on the company's work in LED video walls, digital signage and audio-visual solutions.

The result is the Clarity Solutions — Digital Experience Concept.

This is an unofficial concept project created independently as part of my application process. It is not an official Clarity Solutions project or commissioned work.

The goal was to explore how web design, UI/UX, graphic design and digital marketing materials could work together as one cohesive visual experience.

Understanding the Challenge

Clarity Solutions operates in a highly visual industry.

LED video walls, digital signage and audio-visual installations are designed to capture attention and communicate information through visual experiences.

That creates an interesting design challenge.

A website for a company like this should not simply explain what the company does.

It should also show what the technology can do.

For this concept, I wanted to create a digital experience that feels:

  • Modern
  • Professional
  • Technology-focused
  • Visually immersive
  • Corporate
  • Easy to navigate

The design needed to communicate the company's capabilities quickly while giving potential clients a reason to explore its services and projects.

The Concept

The concept brings several different design disciplines together:

Website Design → UI/UX → Graphic Design → Social Media → Digital Signage → Corporate Communication

Instead of treating each deliverable as a separate design, I approached them as parts of one visual system.

The same design language can therefore be adapted across a website, social media campaign, LED display and company-profile material.

Website Hero Section

The website concept begins with a strong visual hero section.

The objective was to immediately communicate the relationship between Clarity Solutions and large-scale visual technology.

Rather than filling the first screen with information, the concept uses:

  • Large typography
  • Strong imagery
  • High-contrast visual elements
  • Clear calls to action
  • LED display imagery

The idea is to create an immediate impression while allowing visitors to discover more about the company's services as they scroll.

LED Digital Signage

LED digital signage is one of the most visually important parts of the concept.

I wanted to show the technology in an environment rather than presenting it as an isolated product.

This helps communicate the potential impact of digital signage to a prospective client.

The concept focuses on the idea:

Your message. Magnified.

A large LED display can transform a physical environment into a communication platform.

Whether used for advertising, corporate communication, events or public information, the visual experience becomes part of the environment itself.

Digital Signage Creative

I also created a standalone digital-signage creative that could be displayed on an LED screen.

The design uses minimal messaging, strong typography and a clear visual hierarchy.

This is particularly important for large-format displays because viewers may only have a few seconds to understand the message.

The creative therefore focuses on:

  • Short messaging
  • Strong visual hierarchy
  • Brand visibility
  • Readability
  • High-impact composition

Social Media Design

A company's digital presence extends beyond its website.

For the concept, I explored how the visual identity could be adapted for social platforms including:

  • Instagram
  • LinkedIn
  • TikTok
  • WhatsApp

The goal was to create graphics that remain recognisable as part of the same brand while being adapted to the requirements of different platforms.

For example, a LinkedIn creative can communicate a project or corporate announcement, while an Instagram or TikTok graphic can focus more heavily on visual impact.

Responsive Website Design

The website concept was designed with responsive behaviour in mind.

The desktop version provides space for large visual elements, service presentations and project showcases.

The mobile version simplifies the layout while maintaining the same visual hierarchy.

Important considerations included:

  • Responsive layouts
  • Clear navigation
  • Mobile usability
  • Typography
  • Spacing
  • Visual hierarchy
  • Accessible interaction
  • Strong calls to action

The objective was to make the experience work effectively across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.

Corporate Company Profile

The visual concept also extends beyond digital screens.

I created a company-profile direction that could form the basis for corporate materials such as:

  • Company profiles
  • Brochures
  • Presentations
  • Marketing documents
  • Project proposals
  • Sales materials

This helps demonstrate how a visual identity can remain consistent across different communication channels.

Building a Consistent Visual System

One of the main ideas behind the project was consistency.

A website, Instagram post, LinkedIn graphic and company profile should not feel like completely different designs.

They should feel like parts of the same brand.

The concept therefore uses shared principles across the different materials:

  • Typography
  • Layout
  • Visual hierarchy
  • Spacing
  • Imagery
  • Technology-focused visuals
  • Consistent messaging

This makes it easier to extend the design into future marketing materials.

Technology & Tools

The concept combines my design and web-development experience.

For design and visual development, I work with:

  • Figma
  • Canva
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator

For web development, my experience includes:

  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • JavaScript
  • TypeScript
  • React
  • Next.js
  • Tailwind CSS
  • WordPress
  • Elementor

The interactive portfolio implementation uses a modern component-based approach with responsive layouts and animation.

Designing and Building

One of the advantages I bring to web projects is the ability to work across both design and development.

I can take an idea from:

Concept → Wireframe → Visual Design → Development → Responsive Implementation → Deployment

This makes it possible to consider technical limitations during the design process rather than designing something that becomes difficult to implement later.

For this concept, the same approach was used to turn the visual direction into an interactive portfolio case study.

What I Wanted to Demonstrate

This project was created to demonstrate more than graphic design ability.

I wanted to show that I can think about a company's digital presence as a complete system.

That includes:

  • Website design
  • UI/UX
  • Responsive development
  • Graphic design
  • Branding
  • Social media content
  • Digital advertising
  • Digital signage
  • Corporate communication

The individual deliverables are important, but the ability to connect them into one consistent experience is what I found most interesting.

What I Learned

Creating this concept reinforced an important principle:

Good design starts with understanding the business.

Before deciding on colours, typography or layouts, it is important to understand:

  • What the company does
  • Who its customers are
  • What it needs to communicate
  • Where the communication will be consumed
  • What action the user should take

For a company involved in LED and audio-visual technology, the design itself needs to communicate visual impact.

That became one of the central ideas behind the project.

Final Concept

The final concept brings together several pieces of work:

  • Website hero experience
  • LED digital signage concept
  • Social media creatives
  • Responsive website UI
  • Corporate company-profile design

Together, they form a proposed digital experience for a modern audio-visual technology company.

Again, this is an unofficial concept project created independently for portfolio and application purposes. It is not an official Clarity Solutions project.

The project demonstrates how the different visual assets can come together as one responsive digital experience.

Final Thoughts

Creating this project was an opportunity to combine two areas I enjoy working in:

Design and technology.

A strong website should look good, but it should also communicate clearly, work across devices and support the goals of the business behind it.

For a company working with LED displays, digital signage and audio-visual technology, that becomes even more important.

The digital experience should be as clear, modern and visually engaging as the technology being presented.

That was the idea behind the Clarity Solutions concept.
